The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Swat, welcomed Dr. Muhammad Fayaz, Head of the Department of Bioinformatics at the University of Malakand, during his visit to the university.

A constructive meeting was held to discuss the development and implementation of the upcoming University Management System (UMS). The meeting was chaired by Dr. Khalid Khan, Additional Registrar, and attended by representatives of the University Administration and the Directorate of IT.

During the session, key features, operational requirements, and implementation strategies of the proposed UMS were discussed in detail. Subsequently, Engr. Maaz Ali Mumtaz, Assistant Director IT, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the system’s major functionalities and its role in improving administrative efficiency and digital services.

Under the guidance of the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shakeeb Ullah, Dr. Khalid Khan, Additional Registrar, along with members of the University Administration and IT team, presented a commemorative shield to Dr. Muhammad Fayaz as a gesture of appreciation and respect for his visit.

The meeting reflects UVAS Swat’s continued commitment to digital transformation, institutional collaboration, and the advancement of efficient university management systems.
