The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Swat has reached another significant milestone in its digital transformation journey with the official launch of the Smart Attendance Management System. This initiative represents a core shift toward automated and transparent human resource management within the university.

The project has been successfully launched under the strong support and visionary leadership of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shakeeb Ullah, whose commitment to modernizing institutional infrastructure continues to drive UVAS Swat toward global administrative standards.

The technical design, development, and implementation of this attendance framework were led by Engr. Maaz Ali Mumtaz, Assistant Director IT. His work ensures that the system provides a seamless, secure, and user-friendly experience for all faculty and staff, effectively replacing manual processes with real-time digital accountability.
